The GAP Arts Project

A central, flexible and affordable arts space dedicated to young people’s creativity is much needed and long overdue in the UK’s second city.

The GAP will be a cultural learning centre, a ‘gap’ for exploration, collaboration and creative meaning-making. And with an original public offer led and programmed by young people, The GAP will also provide opportunities for the whole community to imagine, learn, test, play and do – building resilience and community through creativity.

The GAP has officially now opened with:
• Launch of Young Artists collective Exhibition – ‘Heart of the Matter’
• Live music from The Dudes of Jazz and Lobster Acoustic
• Spoken Word artists, Craft demonstrations, Minecraft mania and more…
• Plus Guest Speakers, refreshments and special membership offers.
