The Bureau Bar, Colmore Row

The-Bureau-Bar-Rooftop-GardenColmore Row Business District is a hive of activity for finance and legal teams, meaning the Bureau has a rather upmarket clientel during weekdays but becomes more cool bar culture at weekends when locals venture into town.

No. 110 Colmore Row is a picturesque and original piece of architecture created in 1902-4 by William Henman & Thomas Cooper for the Scottish Union and National Insurance Co.

Bureau Bar Cocktails BirminghamIt has been built with Aberdeen granite (appropriately) and limestone, with inset bands of red brick & is currently a grade two listed building.

The main bar has booth seating with dark woods against swanky pinned leather to compliment the original Italian marble walls & an eight meter cocktail bar lit with vintage style pendent lights. A staircase leads down from the main bar to a basement lounge area serviced with it’s own bar & is ideal for private hire & events.

The Bureau Bar Rooftop GardenThe Bureau also offers a mezzanine level conference room, a second floor bar and a fab little roof top terrace with some interesting views across the city’s rooftops.

The rooftop terrace has several covered areas which will keep you cosy during the cooler months, you can take the plush winding staircase or the lift for easy access.

DJs such as Morais Vibes, play a mix of soul and dance music during weekends and special one off parties. A great addition to Birmingham’s bar and food scene, cocktails are fantastic.
