A Midlands based business woman with more than 20 years of experience as a precision colour artist in the hairdressing industry was the guest of honour at the Girls Lunch and Meeting (GLAM) event organised by QualitySolicitors Talbots and Natwest.
Lisa Shepherd, owner of salons in Birmingham, Kidderminster, Wombourne and London, joined the ‘ladies who lunch’ group as a guest speaker at the meeting which took place at the Lyttelton Arms in Hagley.
Lisa said: “It was a pleasure to be asked to speak. It’s always great to see so many business-minded women together in one room and I hope that they will have benefitted from the day.”
Lisa spoke on subjects including running a successful business and balancing work and home life, as well as hosting a business card raffle for a free treatment at a Lisa Shepherd salon.
Emma Rose, event organiser, said: “Lisa was great. All of the ladies found everything she said very interesting and Lisa to be very approachable – we’ve had some really positive feedback. We were really grateful that she came along and hope that she enjoyed the experience as much as we did.”
