Plan B (AKA Ben Drew), the London born singer, rapper and actor, has announced details of his new headline UK arena tour, hitting the LG Arena, Birmingham on Friday 8 February.

Over the past few months, Plan B has barely stopped. He released iLL Manors – the movie, filmed a BBC3 documentary, toured the UK and also appeared at a selection of festivals including BBC’s Hackney One Big Weekend. He’s now starring in a remake of The Sweeney with Ray Winstone and performed as one of the headliners of this year’s iTunes Festival 2012.

Plan B has seen his music career go from strength to strength, starting as a hip hop artist when he released his first, critically acclaimed, debut album Who Needs Actions When You Got Words in 2006. His second studio album, The Defamation of Strickland Banks (2010), which has been described as a soul record went straight into the charts at No.1.
