It’s Storytelling Cafe Season at the Kitchen Garden Cafe in a couple of weeks time where the quaint and highly popular Kings Heath venue presents Debs Newbold as she unfolds tales of the turning of time.
Celebrate the mysteries of Midsummer Eve in style at The Kitchen Garden Storytelling Café from tales of the sweet love of summer to deep loss of winter. Travel with her through the sensuous groves of Italy that lead somehow to the wild hills of Shropshire, sense the rustle of the leaves, breathe in the scent of summer flowering, listen to the melodies of songs woven into the twisting paths of her magical journeys.
Bringing with charisma and immensely proud of her Brummie roots, Debs captivates audiences at major venues from The Royal Opera House to The Hay Literary Festival.
But of course, the best description of Deb’s unique talent comes from her own vivid pen when she describes herself as “having the voice, heart and imagination as big as a very clever giant’s.”
Storytelling Café is not an event for children but a great night out for adults with food available from the Kitchen Garden Café and food to feed your soul from Storytelling Café. Tickets are £7 and can be booked at Kitchen Garden Café or by phoning 0121 443 4725.
