FACE in February – their strongest line ups yet

FACE Winter 2012

FACE is one of Birmingham’s crown jewels in terms of an  excellent night out. Known throughout the country for hosting epic electro, music-lovers house and legendary party anthems, FACE has grown a reputation for it’s friendly crowds and top DJs. February is no different bringing a host of exciting line ups to Digbeth.

On 11th Feb Manchester night Zutekh come to town. Zutekh is a close ally of Face and all the respective residents are getting together for a house party like no other, this time taking place in Cellar Door whilst Dolce Vita crew take to the Courtyard. Its called ‘The Room Swap’ and is something highly anticipated by many FACE regulars.

In just under 3 years, Zutekh has become a major event in the electronic music calendar of Manchester. From its inception as a small midweek party for friends, in a tiny space above a Shisha Cafe on Manchesters Curry Mile, it has gone on to become an independent brand like no other. Since moving to their current home two years ago – the Sound Control Basement, the team behind Zutekh have created one of the best party atmospheres you are ever likely to find.

While on February 18th FACE Meets FREQ with residents from both camps chipping in their house and techno wares alongside Bunny, Dave James and WetYourself man, Cormac. London event Vikings also take to the Cellar Door for the first time too.

This line up have are always quick to stir up a complete  frenzy of dance floor hedonism, yet present quality music in an unpretentious way. This has irrevocably changed Sunday nights in London so expect this one to be a sure fire winner.

Crowd gathering @ FACELast but not least Leeds night Filth come to Birmingham on February 25th. Filth is one of the biggest events in the country, and tonight they pop over to Birmingham with resident and founder Danny Savage, plus residents Cubiq and Luke Pompey all playing alongside One Records young sensation, Jordan Peak. His rough and ready tech house sound has taken him all over Europe in recent months so it will hopefully be a top night at FACE.

Germany’s Larse is the main head liner at this event however, with his releases on Noir and We Love This he has carved out a niche for himself – one you want to get lost on the dance floor to for sure.
