Investment puts innovation at the heart of freestyle training at Fitness First Stirchley

Fitness First Stirchley is set to showcase new innovations in the fitness world in a new freestyle area as part of a huge improvement programme.
General Manager at Fitness First Stirchley, Carol Fraser, said this new area is dedicated to showcasing the latest fitness innovations and providing members with a carefully designed space to work out alone, in teams or with a personal trainer.

“The  refurb has really grabbed the attention of our members and will be a place of innovation offering freedom to workout with the new leading fitness tools in the industry,’’ said Lee Winders (Health and Fitness Manager). “By having a dedicated area, members can easily identify what is new and staff can demonstrate the equipment so our members can incorporate new routines quickly and easily into their workouts.’’

Equipment such as Power Bags, Kettlebells, Plyometric Platforms, TRX bands, Bosu and ViPR are among the fitness tools being showcased in Fitness First’s largest freestyle area which opened at the club on Pershore Road in August 2011.

The area has already been a huge success with the members, and the team have devised a special timetable for gym floor classes showing members how to use the new equipment.

If you would like to try out the new freestyle area, you can download a free 1 day guest pass from or just call the club on 0121 458 6777.
