Millennium Point opens its new event space CONNECT

Millennium Point venue Connect

connect_010 (1)Birmingham’s landmark Millennium Point development today opens the doors to its new state-of-the-art event and meeting venue, CONNECT.

The purpose built CONNECT space, which is ideally located within a ten-minute walk of Birmingham’s main rail stations and has links to the city’s road networks, is the latest addition to the building’s facilities and features a number of options to suit a variety of event requirements. From training to networking, launches to banqueting and workshops to board meetings, the new space can accommodate groups of up to 120 guests across its main event space and three inter-connecting meeting rooms. Event organisers and their guests will benefit from access to industry-leading audio-visual equipment, wireless presentation capabilities and a range of features including private delegate WIFI, quality catering services and colour changing lighting systems.

Judith Armstrong, Chief Executive of Millennium Point, said:

“The idea to create a purpose built space within the Millennium Point development was really powered by Birmingham’s revitalised position as one of the UK’s most dynamic cities. With so much construction, shifting of the city core towards the East and us being located directly opposite where the HS2 link will deliver passengers into the city, we wanted to ensure we could offer dedicated space not only for offices and learning but also for meetings, events and exhibitions.”

“Millennium Point is the landmark building within Eastside, and I’m incredibly proud that we are still at the forefront of technology and innovation, and offering the city its newest venue with the CONNECT suite.”
