With over 100 trampolines across a cool 35,000 square feet, the 2nd Rush UK site sits in the former home of a go-kart racing track.
However, there’s loads more to do than simply bouncing, with an eye-watering itinerary to match even the most daring of individuals. From Dodgeball, to Slam Dunkers, Trapeze, or the Adrenaline Rush Assault Course, anyone can explore the adventure.
We arrived to a packed out arena, and were given special socks, exclusive to RUSH, and were asked to sign a disclaimer which you can do ahead of your visit online, for safety reasons. This is matched with a safety video that every parent, child, or spectator sits through before walking up the entrance ramp and illustrates the owners’ dedication to providing the highest quality environment for all the family.
Or if you loved watching the tightrope walk growing up, and wondered if you had the balance required to get to the other side, Rush has Slack Lines which will challenge, frustrate and push you to your limits.
There’s a special Adrenaline Rush Assault Course to get your teeth into which interlinks obstacles with parkour, and rope courses. It provides an excellent fat burning workout for those that like to switch up their training regime.
For those wannabe Michael Jordan’s and basketball fanatics, there’s a basket ball hoop lane which provides endless opportunities to dunk.
The little ones loved playing a game of extreme dodgeball, but I think firing balls at the friendly staff was the biggest draw. Huge angled trampoline walls provide the ideal setting to transport your mind into the place where dreams are made. It really is a fantastic experience for young children. The rules are simple for those that don’t know, if you hit your opponent with a soft red ball then you’ve got them out. The last one standing is the winner.
For those night owls, there’s an after dark disco on selected evenings where you can explore Rush Slam, the Foam Pit, Extreme Dodgeball to name a few, all to a setting of disco lights and music – the perfect party atmosphere.
One of the great things about the venue is that parents, grandparents or carers can take a step back because the staff are so friendly and helpful that the children are extremely well looked after and safe as a result.
The mezzanine cafe is a great place to go straight after your party, where they provide everything from breakfast rolls to freshly made pizzas, ice creams and coffees. They even have a delicious vegetarian burger option.
