When we arrived at the new Beefeater Longbridge our waitress Melanie was full of knowledge and gave us an excellent introduction to the restaurant. She was kind enough to bring us an allergy menu too which gave us much needed peace of mind.
There’s a broad selection of dishes to choose from, and the restaurant has clean modern interior suitable for couples, families and larger parties depending on the occasion.
The children’s menu was a favourite including a starter of garlic bread and cucumber sticks, including some pens and crayons to draw with, not to mention a fun word search which kept our little one entertained.
Manager Natalie was a natural leader, backed by her expert chefs Jay-Daniel and Josh who cooked our food on the day.
I decided to go for the Surf and turf, blessed with the signature ti-tip steak. It was a lean and tender cut bursting with flavour and seasoned with a rich, decadent smoky BBQ rub, and topped with mouth watering king prawns.
For desert we polished off a stunning Jin and Tonic trifle, some brownie and for the little one a delightful bowl of vanilla ice cream.
The Beefeater Longbridge is an excellent choice if you’re on a business trip and staying at the new hotel, or are having a day out shopping at the retail park. We rate it 4 stars.
